For me, the biggest challenge in using loops is that some sample makers program loops in halftime and they sound too fast in my projects. For producers who work in halftime, they have the opposite problem with standard tempo loops. Halftime and doubletime buttons located near the play and stop buttons of the file browser could allow us to preview and import a given loop at the right tempo feel for our projects. Stylus RMX has a feature like this, and it has both practical and creative benefits.
