I'm trying to create a drum beat in Waveform 13 Free on Windows and I want the open high hat to cut short (as if the foot pedal were released to close it). I'm currently trying to do this using a MIDI track with an szf plug-in but I can't stop the high hat sound from sustaining.
I thought I might be able to do individual automation of the note volume but I can only find the way to do automation on the whole track. The user manual doesn't to tie up with what I'm seeing. Am I missing something?
