Hi folks, recently, when buying a new PC, I changed from W11 to W13. And since that time I got a massive problem. I am recording mainly radio shows (some are word-based, some are music-based) and radio jingles / teasers.
The problem is that since I changed from W11 to W13 the mix sounds absolutely okay, but when rendering the file, it is terrible. It seems that on rendering, the plugins are simply ignored. Furthermore an Automation on one track seems to affect all other tracks as well, which is absolutely inacceptable.
A small example as explanation: One of the projects has only 2 tracks, one for background music and one for the voice-over. I am using the inline mixer with the usual plugins "Volume & Pan" and "Levelmeter". Additionally I am using an Exciter plugin (La Petite Excite) on both tracks (with individual settings on each track). I had the plugin verified in W13 and it works as it should in editing mode. On the music track a volume automation is set to reduce volume, while the voice is on.
As I said, the mix sounds perfect. But when I export the finished work, two unwanted things happen: The Exciter plugin is absolutely ignored. And the voice volume, instead of standing out clearly (as in the mix) is reduced just like the automated music track. As you can imagine, the result sounds terrible.
BTW, the outputs of each track are set exclusively to the audio interface and the result does not change, when the outputs are changed, nor do plugins in the mastering section change the result. The Exciter-Plugin is ignored there, too. I did not have these problems in W11, so I guess, it is probably either a bug or some setting, which is different, and I just cannot find it ...
Any help / ideas are highly appreciated, because I need to hand in a few emissions within this week ...
