Sound Design • Ableton Drift waveform display

Not sure where to put this post but this section of the forum makes the most sense to me. I may be missing something obvious re waveform physics and how sound waves interact, it's been a while since I did this stuff.

What would be the reason that the waveforms (circled in pink) are displayed as reversed/inverted compared to what's shown in the scope and the little icon in Drift for the waveform?
